Optovue’s reputation for advancements in optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology is about to go further with the newly released Solix Full Range model, which takes OCT to an unprecedented level.
“Solix delivers pristine images of retinal structures with 16mm wide x 6mm retinal scans. Full range anterior segment imaging captures the entire anterior chamber with 18mm wide scans. Proven glaucoma analytics combine structural and 3D AngioDisc analysis and trend reports,” says BOC Instruments.
Solix provides a wide range of tools for disease management with: wide-field anterior and posterior OCT; 3D OCT Angiography (OCT-A) with angioanalytics; quantification of epithelial, stromal and total corneal thickness with the 10mm corneal layer map; and fundus and external eye photography including meibography.
Ultra-fast scanning technology with 120,000 A-scans/second, tracking and motion correction technology, multi-volume merging and 3D projection artifact removal, produces OCT-A images with unprecedented image resolution and clarity up to 36mm x 36mm montaged. 3D vessel rendering enables real-life visualisation of retinal vasculature and vascular connectivity.
