Specialist medical lender Credabl has launched the Helping Hand Grants, to support small and medium sized businesses in the medical industry. There are five grants available, each including an AU$5,000 cash incentive and a range of marketing support designed to help promote the businesses in their local area and educate on ways to use digital and social media to build their brands.
Stafford Hamilton, CEO of Credabl, endorsed the launch of the Helping Hand Grants as a way to “shine a light” on hard-working healthcare practices right across Australia.

“At Credabl, we have seen first-hand how hard this year has been on medical practices emotionally and financially.
The Helping Hand grants enable us to support five businesses whilst also acknowledging the challenges many practices are currently facing – from patient retention and community engagement to financial hardship.”
Businesses can apply by submitting a photograph or video and a maximum of 100 words as to why they should be awarded a Helping Hand Grant. A panel of judges made up of senior leaders at Credabl and three independent leaders from the medical, dental and veterinary industries will work through all of the applications and award five grants to businesses across Australia. The recipients will be announced in March 2021.
Each Helping Hand Grant consists of four major components:
• A $5,000 cash prize to invest in the practice or reward the team,
• An advertisement to promote your business, designed by Credabl and booked into the local media of your choice to the value of $2,000,
• Posts to use on your social media pages to promote your win, and
• A digital Tips & Tricks booklet for medical professionals.
Applications opened on 1 November 2020 and close on Sunday 28 February 2021.
Mr Hamilton said, “We’re humbled by the applications we’ve already had and hope they continue to come in thick and fast. We want to retell some of these stories over the holiday period and really share the wonderful hard work and community spirit we’ve witnessed.”
Medical, dental and veterinary businesses can apply for a Helping Hand Grant via the dedicated program page found here and patients / clients can nominate their local doctor, dentist or vet by visiting the nomination page found here.
