Aarons Eyewear has launched a new website enabling optometrists to quickly search for, and order, new stock 24/7 online.
Managing Director Aaron McColl said the launch of the fresh new website comes at a particularly critical time when it is difficult for optometrists to see sales representatives and view ranges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The website responds to the needs of optometrists looking for a seamless ordering process. We’ve included images and details of the frames for all the brands we distribute and we’ve built in comprehensive search and filter functionality to improve efficiencies for optometrists.
“So for instance, you can quickly search up a specific frame model, colour, or size; search by ‘SKU’ or ‘most popular’ or ‘highest price’; or by broader description such, as ‘show me all 52 eye men’s frames, show me all the ladies models with Swarovski Crystals, etc. etc. – the possibilities are endless and really helpful in a busy practice,” he said.
By logging in to their account, optometrists can also view pricing and discounts that are specific to their account, their order history, create a wish list and check to see whether particular colours or models are available.
Additionally, they can use the site to provide customers with extensive frame options that are not carried in store. “As long as you don’t log in, you can show customers all the collections without prices being visible,” Mr McColl said.
