A fully-funded place is on offer for a Joint PhD between the University of Melbourne and the University of Manchester, for commencement in 2020. This PhD project will focus on the role of inflammation in contact lens wear, and be supervised by world-leaders in contact lens research and corneal immunology at the University of Melbourne (Dr Laura Downie and Dr Holly Chinnery) and the University of Manchester (Dr Carole Maldonado-Codina and Prof Phil Morgan).
The PhD scholarship covers:
- Tuition fees at Manchester and Melbourne candidate rates
- A Melbourne Research Scholarship
- Travel allowance
