Celebrating 50 years in Australia, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists’ (RANZCO) 51st Annual Scientific Congress will reflect on the past while anticipating the future.
This year, the opening lecture will be delivered by astronomer and author Prof Lisa Harvey-Smith (UNSW). Other speakers include Prof David A Plager (Indiana University Medical Center), Dr Emily Y Chew (National Eye Institute/ National Institutes of Health, Bethesda), Prof John Marshall (Moorfield’s Eye Hospital, University College London) and Dr Anasaini Cama (The Fred Hollows Foundation).
Meetings of the American Association for Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) and the Asia-Pacific Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology Society (APSPOS) will precede the RANZCO Congress. The 51st Annual Scientific Congress will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC).
