This year at O=MEGA19, a new Window Dressing Competition will be open to all optical retailers with street frontages. Optometry businesses that participate will benefit from the opportunity to attract customers and improve their retails skills.
The window displays will be judged on a range of criteria, including overall impression and visual impact; creativity and innovation; styling that communicates a theme; clever use of products; effort and business collaboration; and overall street impact.
All entries will be displayed at the Window Dressing Area at O=MEGA19. Participants can attend the awards presentation on 19 July where the top three displays will be decided and prizes for the winners announced.
First place will receive an Annual Window Calendar Consultation with Kerry Van Beuge from Through the Looking Glass, which also includes the annual plan, a consultation with the staff member responsible for the installation, and one free Virtual Window Display specific to their practice window space valued at $750.
To enter, businesses need to upload a photo of their window display to @odmaeyewear on Instagram using the hashtag #OMEGA19 and clearly identify the business. Photos also need to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Entries close 10 July 2019.
