Ray-Ban’s first Australian retail store will open in Westfield Doncaster, Melbourne on 3 October. The new store follows the opening of stores in New York, London, Tokyo and Milan and will showcase the largest selection of Ray-Ban sunglasses and optical frames in Australia. The collection will inlcude several limited-edition models available for the first time and exclusive to the store. The Ray-Ban store will have a full-time optometrist, the latest eye care technology, and will offer comprehensive eye tests.

Ray-Ban has been at the forefront of cultural change since the introduction of the iconic Aviator model, which was created for the pilots of the United States Army. Described as “a symbol of self-expression”, Ray-Ban’s frames have been worn by celebrities, musicians, artists and public figures all around the world.
According to Luxottica, the design of the new Ray-Ban store brings Ray-Ban’s heritage into the present, offering all generations a stimulating, innovative shopping experience. In-store, digital tools will create an engaging journey where customers can dive into product stories and the history of the brand, in an environment that reflects the brand’s iconic DNA.
It will showcase over 650 pairs of eyewear, providing a wide assortment of sunglasses, optical frames and frames for juniors, to suit every face shape and size (both international and alternative fit), as well as Ray-Ban authentic prescription lenses. Additionally, the store will have a large number of avant premier styles.
