The eighth World Glaucoma Congress (WGC) will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27– 30 March 2019.
Over 2,000 delegates from approximately 100 countries are expected to come together to participate in a total of 21 symposiums, 24 courses, grand rounds, film festival, rapid fire presentations, and the largest surgical wetlabs in the field of glaucoma.
Additionally, delegates are able to participate in a social program that includes a welcome reception, congress dinner, fun run, and a half day tour of Yarra Valley wineries.

In preparation for this international meeting of experts on glaucoma, the Program Planning Committee has invited submission of abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the program as oral or poster presentations. Submissions must be received by 1 October 2018.
Enter the Renowned WGC Film Festival
Entries are also being accepted for the renowned World Glaucoma Congress 2019 Film Festival. The top 30 film submissions, as judged by the Program Planning Committee, will be shown in the Film Theatre at least twice during WGC-2019, and special prizes will be awarded to the three winning films.
Early registration closes on 17 December 2018 and late registration closes on 15 February 2019. Reduced registration fees are available for Glaucoma Society members and students, physicians and scientists in training.
