Optometrists and their families are invited to enjoy a Bali Wellness Retreat from 19 – 26 May 2018, which will raise funds to support Eyes4Everest and the Balinese charity, Bumi Sehat Foundation.
The retreat to Dragonfly Village in Ubud will include six days of yoga classes and workshops, facilitated by qualified teacher Beáta Alföldi, who is a full member of the International Energetic Healing Association. Walks through rice paddies, herbal steam baths and a water blessing ceremony performed by a Balinese High Priestess will all be part of the experience.
Organised by optometrists Susan Ang and Carina Trinh, the aim of the retreat is to provide a space where optometrists and their friends can “get away from their usual lives to truly consider what they want from life – to relax, recharge, and refocus”.
The full cost of the retreat is AU$2,500 (exc. airfares and travel insurance). An early bird registration of $2,250 is available for those who book before 31 January 2018, and a 50 per cent deposit is required in February to secure all places.
50 per cent of proceeds (after all expenses) from the retreat will be donated to Eyes4Everest and 50 per cent to Bumi Sehat Foundation.
