Ophthalmologists will meet in the NSW Hunter Valley this weekend to attend an academic program that comprises a broad spectrum of topics ranging from macular degeneration and AREDS 2 through to refracting children and prescribing glasses. Speakers including Dr. James Wong; A/Prof. John Grigg and A/Prof Ivan Goldberg.
The theme of the NSW meeting, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley from 21 – 22 March is Ophthalmology 2014: The Cutting Edge.
RANZCO Branch Chair, Dr. Tasha Micheli believes the meeting will be highly successful. “With over 270 already registered, it will be a well-attended meeting which is on a pleasantly compact scale compared to the larger National and International conferences. At this meeting ophthalmologists combine ongoing educational activities with the opportunity to mingle with their professional colleagues”.
