WCO Calls For Abstracts

The World Council of Optometry (WCO) has announced that the sixth World Conference on Optometric Education (WCOE 6) will be held jointly with the World Congress on Refractive Error (WCRE) in Durban, South Africa from September 20 to 24. The theme of WCOE 6 is: ‘Meeting society's needs: Challenges and trends in optometric education'.

WCO is calling for abstracts in the form of oral, video, workshop or poster presentations addressing the three sub themes of the conference:

1. Developing appropriate human resources
2. Strategies in providing quality education and curricula development
3. Trends and developments in optometric education programmes
