Rapid Intuitive Colorimeter

The Mk 3 Intuitive Colorimeter, designed by the British Medical Research Council, offers a logical,sequential optical system that explores colour space and allows for swift prescribing of precisiontinted lenses.

The optimum precision tints offer relief of visual perceptual problems (visual stress) ininstances of dyslexia and photosensitive migraine and epilepsy.

The system allows the effect of colour on visual discomfort to be measured efficiently under controlledconditions and can generate 110,000 different combinations of saturation, colour and brightness.

Recently published research, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI), showspositive results in the suppression of photosensitive migraine attacks with the use of precision tinted lenses, prescribed by means of the Intuitive Colorimeter.
