Collection of Personal Information   

We collect your personal information from you when you use our services, ask to be included on a mailing list or you submit the information to us for any other reason connected with our business. In particular, if you wish to pay for our services using the online payment gateway, we will collect your credit card details. If you do not provide the personal information we require it may not be possible to provide you with goods, products or services.   

Use of Personal Information   

We will use your personal information that you have provided to us to meet your request for products or services including transmission to and storage with finance and optical supply organisations (in Australia and overseas); to keep you informed of our products and services or those of our business partners, to have our business partners send you similar information; to provide to third party service providers or others (whether in Australia or overseas) to help provide a product or service you have requested; to provide to our advisers (e.g. lawyers and accountants) if necessary; and as otherwise permitted by the National Privacy Principles.   

The provision of credit card details to a third party service provider for the purposes of carrying out the requested transaction is done so via secured means and the information is encrypted. The third party service providers will use the information provided by you to conduct credit card authorisation and fraud checks.   

We may require some information from you under Australian law (e.g. GST legislation) and we may be required by law to disclose some personal information.   

We also collect from third parties by lawful means personal information about individuals which is reasonably necessary for providing our goods, products or services. We will not use information collected from third parties for direct marketing or with the intention of interfering with the privacy of any individual.   

Your information may be used for demographic data for aggregate use by us, our business partners, or our advertisers. This information is not linked to any personal information that can identify you.   

By engaging our services or providing information to us we will assume you have consented to the above uses of the personal information that you have provided to us. You may "opt out" of receiving direct marketing information. Unless you opt out we will assume you have consented to the receipt of that information. Storage and Security of Personal Information 

We will only use your credit card information for payment processing. Any credit card information collected from you is encrypted and transmitted to the third party service provided using a 256-bit Secure Socket Layer to ensure the security of your credit card information.   

We have implemented measures to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control.
