Glaucoma Awareness Campaign Wins Award
Glaucoma Australia's Glaucoma Awareness campaign picked up a Bronze Award for its agency DDB Remedy at the 2008 IPA Best of Health Awards in London. The IPA Best of Health Awards honours the best creative advertising work by healthcare advertising agencies worldwide with the objective of showcasing the best creativity in this specialist area. From 328 entries in this year's competition DDB Remedy picked up seven awards including the Bronze award for the Glaucoma Awareness campaign. The Glaucoma Awareness campaign, launched last March by Pfizer Australia in collaboration with Glaucoma Australia and the Optometrists Association Australia, was very uccessful in helping make Australians aware of glaucoma and urging check-ups and treatment.
