Karen Walker Gets Bloodthirsty

Cashing in on the latest ‘Twilight' obsession, Kiwi fashion designer Karen Walker has launched a new eyewear collection that would even make Dracula drool.

Walker has updated her signature bold plastic frames with a new shape and introduced a few cool metals. The look is vampire-inspired (with a winged contour) oversized geek-chic. To launch the range, the ad campaign features bloodthirsty models wearing the ghoulishly named lenses - such as ‘Voodoo', ‘Helter Skelter' and ‘Jonestown'.

While the range is designed in their honour, it is unlikely the frames will see the light of day on notoriously photo-sensitive vampires.
