Queensland Vision 2008 held late March at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre was "an enormous success with more than 600 members and overseas practitioners attending the event", says Greg Johnson OAA Queensland Executive Director.

Major sponsors of the congress were Essilor Australia, who underwrote the event. Supporting sponsors were Alcon, CIBAVision, CooperVision, Monkey Software and HICAPS.
