Queensland Eye Institute

The Queensland Eye Institute is Queensland's only academic eye institute, and was established in 2005 with the generous support of the Sylvia and Charles Viertel Charitable Foundation.

The Queensland Eye Institute is a major research, academic and clinical care facility that brings together the greatest minds in Ophthalmology, the latest technology, and a commitment to preventing blindness and preserving sight.

It is only through the generous support of the community that the Queensland Eye Institute is able to continue our sight-saving work. The ongoing funding for the Institute is wholly provided by the Prevent Blindness Foundation.
