Quality and Service have been our catch phrase since 1977.  Jack Chapman Pty Ltd was founded by Jack in 1977.  Over the next two decades the company grew strongly and became renowned for providing quality lenses and excellent service.  Late in 1999 Jack Chapman retired and fulfilled a long term commitment selling the business to his two senior managers, Brendan Burke and Rod Easton.  Both of whom were qualified optical technicians ,before starting with Jack.  And had progressed through all levels of the company including frame sales.  We saw no reason to change the well known Qld name.

August 2000 saw us relocate from the city to a purpose built facility at Bowen Hills ,which has proved to be an ideal distribution point.

We provide a wide diversity of product including Zeiss, SOLA, Essilor, Younger and Rodenstock to name the key products.

On line ordering is available as well as Trace modem technology.  We process the traditional lens styles inhouse and service the advanced and freeform products through our Corporate partners.

We provide fully finished and fitted lenses to patients own frames, frame and lens packages, uncut grind and stock lenses, certified safety packages, as well finished edged lenses via the trace modem system.  Obviously rimless fitting, repairs and all manner of Laboratory service is incorporated in our daily routine.

Most of the major Contact Lens solutions are still a service we provide, where practices can avail themselves of single or several bottles of product they may not have the need for, on a larger scale.

We are very proud to be Laboratory service providers to ProVision and have been doing so, since it's inception as AIO, Australia's Independent Optometrists, being the only Independent Laboratory to achieve this remarkable record.
