mivision has a certified CAB (Circulation Audit Board) audit distribution. mivision is the only audited monthly ophthalmic publication distributed to both Australia and New Zealand.

What is a CAB audit?

A CAB print distribution audit verifies the average net distribution per issue of a publication in a defined audit period. Every copy within the defined six or twelve month period is verified to produce the Average Net Distribution of an issue. This highlights the printing and method of distribution, number of issues and the publishing frequency of each publication.

There are two audit periods, April to September, and October to March. In 1957, the Australian Association of National Advertisers created the CAB, working with agencies and publishers. This was designed to provide a forum for business, trade and technical publications to establish the credibility of audited distribution.

mivision's Environmental Policy

The publishers of mivision have an environmental policy and aim to eliminate multiple mailings to the same address in order to avoid wastage. Whilst mivision receives an average of 80 new subscribers per month from the eye care professions and practice staff, the publisher actively scans their database to look for duplicate postings to the same address in an effort to eliminate unnecessary wastage.

There are approximately 3,176 optometry outlets (or 'doors') in Australia and New Zealand. Every optometrist in Australia and New Zealand receives one copy of mivision, however an ever growing percentage of optometrists request to receive two magazines, one for their practice and one addressed to them at their home.

Ophthalmologists - 1,459 recipients:

By working closely with RANZCO (the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists) mivision is received by every ophthalmologist practicing in Australia and New Zealand.

Optical Dispensers - 1,622 recipients:

The publisher of mivision has developed the most comprehensive database of optical dispensers in Australia and New Zealand due to the magazines unique retail content.
