Reader Survey Sep 06

The publishers of mivision conducted a reader's survey after it's fifth issue (Sep 06) to analyse the level of industry satisfaction of mivision. The results were extraordinary:


• 465 responses in three weeks (ca. 7% of readers).
• the satisfaction level of mivision was very high with 69% of readers stating that they were 'very satisfied' with mivision, with the other 31% 'satisfied'.
mivision is read primarily by optometrists (53% of respondents)
• although only six issues old at the time of the survey, 49% of readers stated that mivision is "the first magazine they refer to first each month" ahead of the industry veterans (Insight and Australian Optometry).
• The mivison reader survey was independently audited by FR Perry & Associates in October 2006. FR Perry & Associates have also conducted the most recent surveys for EyeTalk reference guide and the ODMA board.
